Brief

A family unit re-planned so the kitchen sees the living room and the city.

A family of four wanted to cook and keep an eye on homework at the same time. The original plan hid the kitchen in a corner with its back to the view.

We opened the kitchen toward the living room, turned the island to face the windows, and moved the helper’s room to a quieter corner. The finishes stay light: terrazzo, pale oak and white-washed brick tile.
